Can I import users and questions from Excel?
Yes. Paste your candidate list or question bank into the MBS Excel template and upload — the platform maps columns, validates entries, and imports everything in one step. No manual data entry needed, even for thousands of records.

Can I upload questions in languages other than English?
Fully. MBS supports Unicode so questions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, and other regional languages display correctly. You can also attach images, diagrams, audio clips, or video files to any question — useful for medical, engineering, and language assessments.

How does MBS keep my data secure?
All data is encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest. Automated backups run twice a week. Payment processing is handled entirely by PCI-compliant third-party gateways — MBS never stores card numbers or banking details. Access is protected by role-based permissions and optional two-factor authentication.

Can I start and stop exam services at any time?
Yes, at any point. You can pause registrations, postpone an exam, or close the platform entirely with a single toggle. While paused, you can display a custom message to candidates explaining the status — no technical knowledge required.

What happens if a candidate loses power mid-exam?
MBS saves each answer as soon as the candidate moves to the next question. If power or internet is lost, the candidate logs back in and resumes from exactly where they stopped — same randomised paper, same time remaining. No exam count is deducted for the restoration.

When is an exam count deducted from my balance?
A single exam count is deducted the moment a candidate clicks Start Exam on the instructions page. If a candidate resumes after a disconnection, no additional count is deducted. Candidates who register but never click Start are never charged.

Can I control what result information candidates see?
Yes — choose: score only, detailed results with correct answers, or a custom message with an announcement date. You control exactly what each profile sees.

Can I validate candidate registration details before the exam?
Yes. MBS sends an OTP to the candidate's registered mobile number or email address during sign-up. Until the OTP is verified, the account is inactive and cannot access any exam. This eliminates fake registrations and ensures your contact data is clean.

Can I manage students in batches?
Yes. The Profiles module is built exactly for this. Create a profile for each batch — Class 11 Physics, NEET Foundation 2025, Corporate Induction Q3 — assign the relevant exams, set daily or total attempt caps, and manage everyone separately without any overlap.

Can I conduct exams in a fully secure environment?
Yes. The MBS Secure Browser is a dedicated application candidates install on their device before the exam. Once the exam starts, it disables tab switching, browser navigation, screen recording, and copy-paste. The device is locked to the exam until the candidate submits or time expires.
